Last date extended to 03 August 2026. Age: 21-40 years. UP-specific GK is non-negotiable at every stage. Selection: Prelims (qualifying) + Mains (1,500 marks across 6 papers) + Interview (200 marks). Final merit total: 1,700 marks. This exam selects the people who run UP's districts — preparation deserves at least 12-18 months.

Preparation Strategy
- •Prelims GS: UP History, Culture, Geography, Economy, and Polity — qualifying only, but cutoff is high.
- •CSAT: Minimum 33% (66/200) mandatory — don't ignore it, many serious candidates fail here.
- •Mains GS I: UP History + Art & Culture. GS II: Constitution + Governance. GS III: Economy + Science. GS IV: Ethics.
- •General Hindi is compulsory — Hindi essay, grammar, and comprehension all important.
- •Interview: District-level awareness, UP schemes (CM Yogi's policies), and current events critical.
UP-specific GK — Lucknow, UP government schemes, state geography — yeh sab Prelims se Interview tak sabhi stages mein aata hai.
