Short Information
Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has released the Technician recruitment notification under CEN 02/2026 for 6,565 vacancies — 323 Technician Grade 1 (Signal) and 6,242 Technician Grade 3 across various trades. Short notice released on 18 May 2026; detailed notification PDF released on 29 June 2026. Applications open from 30 June to 29 July 2026. ITI/Diploma holders in Electrical, Electronics, Fitter, Mechanist, and other trades are eligible. Pay Level 2 for Grade 3 (₹19,900 basic) and Level 5 for Grade 1 Signal (₹29,200 basic).

Qualification
- •Technician Grade 3: 10th Pass + ITI (NCVT/SCVT) in relevant trade — Electrician, Fitter, Electronics Mechanic, Mechanist, Welder etc.
- •Technician Grade 1 (Signal): B.Sc. in Physics/Electronics OR Diploma in Electronics/Telecommunication/Electrical Engineering.
- •Age: 18 to 36 years (category-wise relaxation applicable) as on 01 July 2026.

Selection Process

- •Medical Examination: Railway standard medical fitness check.

- •Upload documents and pay fee online.
- •Submit before 29 July 2026.
