Short Information
Indian Army released the 67th Short Service Commission Technical (SSC Tech) entry for men with 350 vacancies across multiple engineering disciplines. Applications were open from 07 January to 05 February 2026. Age limit is 20 to 27 years as on 01 October 2026 — and importantly, final-year engineering students can also apply provisionally. No application fee. Selection is purely through SSB Interview — no written exam. Selected candidates will be commissioned as Lieutenants for the October 2026 course at Indian Military Academy (IMA), Dehradun. Eligible for Permanent Commission after 10 years subject to Army requirements.

Selection Process
- •SSB Interview (5 days): Stage 1 — OIR Test + PPDT. Stage 2 — Psychological Tests, GTO (Group Testing Officer) tasks, personal Interview before a Board of Officers.
- •Medical Examination: At designated Military Hospitals post SSB selection.
- •Merit List: SSB marks + medical fitness. Permanent Commission option available after 10 years.
No written exam — SSB mein performance hi sab kuch decide karta hai.
